KBFG reports group-level net interest and fee income, as well as selected business-line fee figures, but the cited materials do not allocate overall performance to individual named products. The digital-channel sales figures describe channel use, not product revenue shares. ## Business segments

KB Financial Group’s FY2025 business segments comprise Corporate banking, Retail banking, Other banking services, Securities, Non-life insurance, Credit card, Life insurance, and Others. Corporate and retail banking cover Kookmin Bank’s respective corporate and retail banking services; Other banking services includes its remaining banking operations, such as treasury and back-office administration. Securities covers brokerage, investment banking, securities investment and trading, and related capital-markets activities; the insurance and credit-card segments cover the corresponding KB subsidiaries’ operations. The reported segment information does not separately define Others. [19](https://app.finbar.com/go?id=P150343139)[20](https://app.finbar.com/go?id=P150343116)[21](https://app.finbar.com/go?id=P150343168)[22](https://app.finbar.com/go?id=P150343232)[23](https://app.finbar.com/go?id=P150343297)[24](https://app.finbar.com/go?id=P150343199)[25](https://app.finbar.com/go?id=P150343262)[26](https://app.finbar.com/go?id=P150343105)

Using FY2025 segment profit before income tax and the consolidated total of KRW 8,183.1 billion as the denominator, approximate contributions were Corporate banking 25%, Retail banking 23%, Other banking services 16%, Securities 11%, Non-life insurance 14%, Credit card 5%, Life insurance 3%, and Others 10%. Consolidation adjustments were negative KRW 660.3 billion, equivalent to about −8% of the consolidated total; accordingly, the positive segment shares exceed 100% before those adjustments. The latest available 1H2026 results also show subsidiary-level profit contributions, but that presentation is not the same as the formal business-segment breakdown above. [28](https://app.finbar.com/go?id=T16264797)[29](https://app.finbar.com/go?id=T16264778)

## Company history

KB Financial Group’s roots lie in Kookmin Bank, founded in 1963, and Housing & Commercial Bank, founded in 1967. KB Financial Group was established on September 29, 2008, and listed on the Korea Exchange the following month. The Group expanded beyond banking through a series of acquisitions and consolidations. In 2014 it acquired Woori Financial Capital, renamed KB Capital; in 2015 LIG Insurance became KB Insurance, and Hyundai Securities joined the Group in 2016, later merging with KB Investment & Securities to form KB Securities.
