## Business segments

For FY2026, Shimizu reported consolidated net sales in two revenue categories, rather than providing a consolidated revenue contribution for each operating business: construction contracts generated ¥1,845.3 billion, approximately 89.7% of total net sales, and real estate development and other generated ¥212.5 billion, approximately 10.3% of the ¥2,057.8 billion total.[14](https://app.finbar.com/go?id=T16238522) Construction activity includes building construction, civil engineering, and overseas construction.[11](https://www.shimz.co.jp/en/company/about/business/)

The company also identifies Real Estate Development, Engineering, Green Energy Development, Building Life Cycle, and Frontier businesses as business areas.[11](https://www.shimz.co.jp/en/company/about/business/) The FY2026 consolidated sales breakdown does not separately quantify those additional areas, so they are not assigned individual revenue percentages here.[14](https://app.finbar.com/go?id=T16238522)
