Products & services

In its FY2025 reporting, Amdocs described CES25 as its current suite for communications providers. The modular, cloud-native, microservices-based, API-first portfolio includes the Customer Engagement Platform, Monetization Suite, Intelligent Networking Suite, Charging, eSIM Cloud, MarketONE and CatalogONE, and is designed to integrate with legacy systems.[9][10]

The Customer Engagement Platform provides telecom-specific CRM for consumer and business customers, supporting marketing, commerce, sales, ordering and service across channels; its capabilities include AI-assisted customer interactions and low-code tools for deploying customer journeys and offers. Amdocs’ Monetization Suite and Charging products support billing and charging for connectivity, content and digital services, including newer models such as API-usage billing and network-as-a-service. The Intelligent Networking Suite orchestrates services across 5G, software-defined and virtualized networks, cloud and edge, with AI-assisted automation for network and service operations.[11]

Other offerings include CatalogONE, for creating and launching bundles of connectivity, content, partner services and devices; MarketONE, a SaaS platform for aggregating and monetizing partner services; connectX, a cloud-native SaaS platform covering digital telecom care, commerce, ordering and monetization; and eSIM Cloud, for digital SIM offers across consumer, enterprise and IoT use cases. The amAIz portfolio combines data management, AI/ML and GenAI platforms, applications and services. Amdocs also provides consulting, experience design, data and cloud services, network services, systems integration, testing, operations, application development and maintenance, including managed and cloud operations.[14]

The FY2025 filing does not provide revenue or performance percentages for individual products.[7] [9]

Geographic presence

In FY2025, Amdocs reported $4,532.9 million in revenue, allocated by customer location. North America, mainly the U.S., accounted for $2,983.6 million (65.8%); Europe, $705.1 million (15.6%); and the rest of the world, $844.3 million (18.6%). Percentages are calculated from the reported regional figures and total.[20][21] [20]

Business segments

Amdocs reports one operating segment, encompassing its software products and services, primarily for communications and media service providers. For FY2025, this segment represented approximately 100% of consolidated revenue; Amdocs does not report revenue allocations among multiple segments.[22][7]

Amdocs also describes its offerings by capability—including monetization, commerce and care, service and network automation, consulting, delivery, systems integration, and operations—and by product domain, including digital and legacy BSS/OSS and network solutions. These are portfolio descriptions, not separately reported segments, and no revenue contribution percentages are provided for them.[9][10] [22]

Company history

Amdocs traces its origins to 1982, when it began as an automated telephone-directory business. By 1995, it had developed its Ensemble billing and customer-care software, marking its expansion into telecommunications software.[23] The company went public in June 1998.[24]

Amdocs expanded its portfolio through acquisitions, including Cramer Systems in 2006, adding network inventory and service-fulfillment software.[25] Later acquisitions extended its activity into digital subscription billing with Vindicia in 2016, media and entertainment with Vubiquity in 2018, and cloud-native 5G charging and policy capabilities with Openet in 2020.[26]

In 2018, Shuky Sheffer became president and chief executive officer, succeeding Eli Gelman.[29] Subsequent acquisitions included TEOCO’s service-assurance business and ProCom in 2023, Astadia in 2024, and Profinit in December 2024, expanding Amdocs’ capabilities in network assurance, cloud migration, and data science and engineering.[30] [29]
