Business segments

Apple Hospitality REIT reports one operating segment: its hotel operations. Although management evaluates individual hotels, it aggregates them because the properties have similar economic and operating characteristics; performance is assessed using Adjusted Hotel EBITDA. The segment covers the company’s U.S. hotels and their guest-room, food-and-beverage, and other property-related operations.[1]

Accordingly, the single segment represents 100% of the company’s reported hotel operations; the company does not disclose revenue contributions across multiple reportable segments. Its hotels span multiple brands and locations, but these are portfolio characteristics rather than separately reported segments. At June 30, 2026, the portfolio included 216 hotels and 29,459 rooms.[1] [1]
