Products & services

Bright Horizons’ full-service center-based offering includes early education and child care, preschool, and elementary education. Centers operate under cost-plus management contracts or a profit-and-loss model, which may provide employer-sponsored exclusive or priority enrollment or serve families in the surrounding community. Services include center operations and management of staffing, training, vendors, supplies, tuition collection, and receivables. The company describes an education approach informed by early-learning and child-development research, supported by teacher training and evidence-based instructional practices.[8]

Back-up care and care coordination cover disruptions to regular care and include center-based and in-home child care, dedicated back-up centers, school-age programs and camps, in-home senior care, adult center-based care, tutoring, pet care, and reimbursed self-sourced care. Services are delivered through Bright Horizons centers and caregivers and a third-party provider network. Sittercity is an online marketplace connecting families with child-care providers, including babysitters and nannies, as well as pet-care services.[3]

Educational advisory services include EdAssist, which administers employer tuition-assistance and student-loan-repayment programs, offers workforce education and advising, and uses proprietary software to process reimbursement and repayment transactions and analyze data. Its services also include one-on-one employee advising and access to an education network with pre-negotiated tuition discounts. College Coach provides college-admissions and college-financing advice.[11][12]

In FY2025, revenue was $2,081.1 million from full-service center-based care, $728.0 million from back-up care, and $124.5 million from educational advisory services, out of $2,933.6 million total. These represented approximately 71%, 25%, and 4% of revenue, respectively.[13] [8]
