Overview

Celestica Inc. is a technology company providing design, engineering, manufacturing, supply-chain and related services across the product lifecycle. Its work includes hardware development, electronics and mechanical assembly, systems integration, testing and logistics. Its two business segments are Connectivity & Cloud Solutions, serving communications and enterprise markets, and Advanced Technology Solutions, serving aerospace and defense, industrial, health technology and capital equipment markets.[1]+4

Headquartered in Toronto, Celestica has operations and design centers across North America, Asia and Europe.[6][2] It reported US$12.39 billion in FY2025 revenue, and had 29,591 employees at December 31, 2025.[7][8] The company describes its purpose as designing, engineering and manufacturing to drive customer success and market advancement.[9] [1]+8

Products & services

Celestica’s networking portfolio includes the DS6000 and DS6001, 64-port 1.6TbE switches with up to 102.4 Tbps capacity; the DS6001 uses hybrid cooling and is designed for OCP ORv3 racks. The DS5000 is a 64-port 800GbE switch with 51.2 Tbps capacity. The DS6010 is a scale-up switch for AMD’s Helios rack-scale solution; Celestica describes it as using dual Broadcom Tomahawk 6 ASICs for 204.8 Tbps non-blocking capacity.[10]+3 Beyond networking products, the company provides customized and jointly designed storage, server and networking platforms, with design and engineering, new-product introduction, supply-chain and logistics management, assembly, precision machining, systems integration, testing, licensing and software-enablement capabilities.[14]+2

Services also include repair, fulfillment, reverse logistics, IT asset management and disposition, reclamation and returns processing. Its asset-recovery services can include hardware buyback and resale, data erasure or destruction, parts harvesting, redeployment, and product screening and testing.[15] In Q2 2026, Communications and Cloud Solutions (CCS) generated $3.81 billion, about 81% of company revenue, while Advanced Technology Solutions (ATS) generated $888 million, about 19%; these are segment-level figures rather than product-specific revenue shares.[16][17] [14]+9

Geographic presence

Celestica’s 2025 Form 10-K lists operating sites in Canada, the United States, China, Ireland, Japan, Laos, Malaysia, Mexico, Romania, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Indonesia, the Philippines, India, and Thailand. It reported that approximately 80% of 2025 revenue was produced outside North America; this describes where production occurred, not the geographic location of customers or sales.[18]

Celestica’s locations directory provides site-level information, including facilities in Monterrey, Mexico; Oradea, Romania; and Laem Chabang, Thailand. The company describes a worldwide network of more than 45 manufacturing and design centers and more than 33,000 employees, without publishing a regional employee breakdown on that profile.[19][20] [18]+2

Business segments

Celestica reports two operating segments: **Communications and Cloud Solutions (CCS)** and **Advanced Technology Solutions (ATS)**. CCS serves the Communications and Enterprise end markets, including servers and storage; its offerings support data-communications and information-processing infrastructure. ATS serves Aerospace and Defense, Industrial, HealthTech, and Capital Equipment markets, providing specialized manufacturing and related engineering and electronics services.[21][22]

For FY2025, CCS generated $9,188.5 million, approximately **74%** of revenue, and ATS generated $3,202.4 million, approximately **26%**. Within CCS, Communications contributed approximately **57%** of total company revenue and Enterprise approximately **17%**.[23][24] In the six months ended June 30, 2026, CCS accounted for approximately **81%** of revenue and ATS **19%**; Communications represented approximately **58%** and Enterprise **23%** of total revenue. Company history

Celestica traces its origins to an IBM manufacturing unit, began serving non-IBM customers in 1993, and dates its founding to 1994. IBM sold the company in October 1996 to an investor group led by Onex Corporation.[27][28]

Celestica completed its initial public offering in 1998, during a period of rapid acquisition-led expansion. Its 1998 results announcement described eight acquisitions that year, including a merger with International Manufacturing Services that broadened its presence in Asia.[27][29] In 2006, it sold its plastics injection-molding business.[30]

In 2021, Celestica completed its acquisition of Singapore-based PCI Private Limited, adding capabilities to its Advanced Technology Solutions business.[31] In 2023, Onex ceased to be its controlling shareholder after secondary share offerings and the conversion of its multiple-voting shares.[27] Celestica acquired NCS Global in 2024, expanding its IT asset management and disposition services.[32] [27]+5
