It supplies industrial products and equipment, technical and logistics services, and supply-chain solutions; its offerings include rotating equipment, bearings, power transmission, fluid power, metalworking, industrial supplies and safety products, as well as custom pump systems for water and wastewater applications. Its three segments are Service Centers, Innovative Pumping Solutions and Supply Chain Services.[1]
DXP’s footprint is primarily in the United States and Canada, with additional operations in the UAE, India and Saudi Arabia. At year-end 2025 it reported 293 locations. For fiscal 2025, sales were $2.016 billion and the company reported 3,532 employees.[2][3][4] The company describes its mission as providing high-quality customer service through expertise in distributed products and technical services.[4] [1][2][3][4]
Products & services
DXP Enterprises supplies industrial MRO products including rotating equipment, bearings, power-transmission products, hose, fluid-power equipment, metalworking products, industrial supplies and safety products. Its Service Centers network distributes more than 1 million items, including over 60,000 stocked SKUs.[5] The company’s pump offerings include centrifugal, sewage, submersible, metering and vertical-turbine pumps, with manufacturer brands such as Gorman-Rupp, Goulds Water Technology, Grundfos, Flygt and KSB.[6]
Through Innovative Pumping Solutions, DXP designs and fabricates custom pump skids and systems, remanufactures pumps, and supplies private-label pumps. Engineering capabilities include design and layout using SolidWorks and AutoCAD, and finite-element analysis to assess expected loads and forces.[7][8][9] Related services include pump selection and sizing, system-curve evaluation, integration, repair, in-house testing, troubleshooting, special fabrication and engineering upgrades.[10][11]
DXP also provides predictive maintenance, condition monitoring, technical support, field repair and safety supervision, plus outsourced procurement and inventory-management programs, including customer-site inventory.[12][13][14] Its 2026 second-quarter report presents performance by business segment, rather than disclosing revenue shares for individual products or services.[1] [5][7][8][9][12][13][14][1][6][10][11]
Geographic presence
DXP Enterprises’ revenue is concentrated in the United States. For the six months ended June 30, 2026, it reported $1,060.6 million of U.S. revenue (96.6% of total), $36.9 million from Canada (3.4%), and $0.6 million from other geographies (0.1%).[15]

In its Q2 2026 discussion of Service Centers sales, DXP identified California, the Gulf Coast, the Southeast, North Texas, South Central, and the South Rockies as regions with increases, partly offset by a decrease in the Southwest.[17] [15][16][17]
Business segments
DXP Enterprises reports three operating segments. Service Centers (SC) supplies maintenance, repair and operating products, equipment and integrated services, with offerings including rotating equipment, bearings, power transmission, hose, fluid power, metalworking, industrial supplies and safety products [18]. In FY2025, SC generated $1,373.1 million, approximately 68.1% of total sales [19].
Innovative Pumping Solutions (IPS) focuses on water and wastewater products and services, custom integrated pump-system packages, pump remanufacturing and branded private-label pumps [7]. FY2025 sales were $390.3 million, or approximately 19.4% of total sales [19]. Supply Chain Services (SCS) provides MRO products and manages all or part of customers’ supply-chain functions, including inventory management [20]. Its FY2025 sales were $252.9 million, approximately 12.5% of total sales [19]. Percentages are calculated from reported FY2025 segment sales and total sales of $2,016.4 million.
The three-segment structure was also reported for the six months ended June 30, 2026: SC sales were $705.9 million (about 64.3%), IPS $261.4 million (23.8%), and SCS $130.8 million (11.9%) [21]. DXP also distinguishes sales by acquisition versus organic source; this is a sales-source analysis rather than another operating-segment breakdown [22]. Company history
DXP Enterprises traces its origins to 1908, when Charles A. Levins founded Southern Engine and Pump Company in Houston to supply pump technology to local farmers. George N. Allen took over the business in 1957, and it became SEPCO Industries in 1979. David R. Little joined SEPCO in 1975, became its president and CEO in 1983, and acquired a controlling interest in 1986.[23][24]
In 1996, DXP was incorporated in Texas as SEPCO’s successor, went public, and adopted the DXP Enterprises name. Little led the company from its organization and remained its chairman, president and CEO in the 2025 Form 10-K filed in 2026.[25][23]
DXP pursued acquisitions as a growth strategy from the 1980s onward. Notable earlier deals included the 2007 agreement to acquire Delta Process Equipment, expanding its pump-equipment distribution in the southeastern United States, and the 2012 acquisition of HSE Integrated, which extended its Canadian operations into safety services.[26][27][28] The company continued this expansion with seven acquisitions in 2024 and six in 2025; in 2026, announced acquisitions included businesses serving water and wastewater markets in the United States and Canada.[29][30][31][32] [23][25][29][30][24][26][27][28][31][32]
