Products & services

HEICO’s Flight Support Group (FSG) sells FAA-approved replacement parts for jet engines and other aircraft components, designed as functional equivalents using proprietary technology. Its offerings also include military-aircraft parts and support, niche components and composite assemblies, thermal-insulation blankets and reusable insulation systems, lightning-protection mesh, and aviation electrical interconnects and electromechanical parts. Services include component repair, overhaul and distribution; industrial pump, motor and hydraulic-unit overhaul; and precision machining, brazing, fabrication and welding. Other products include emergency-descent devices and personnel and cargo parachutes.[1][9]

The Electronic Technologies Group (ETG) supplies electronic, data/microwave and electro-optical products. Its portfolio includes infrared simulation and test equipment, laser-rangefinder receivers, power supplies and conversion and distribution systems, locator beacons, cockpit annunciators and displays, EMI/RFI shielding and filters, amplifiers, photodetectors, memory products, RF/microwave components, antennas, high-voltage cables and interconnects, radiation detectors, embedded computing and rotary-joint assemblies. In FY2025, 51% of ETG sales were to military agencies, defense prime contractors, and commercial and defense satellite and spacecraft manufacturers.[2]

For the nine months ended July 31, 2026, FSG reported $1,640.5 million in aftermarket replacement-parts sales, $671.1 million in repair/overhaul parts and services, and $385.6 million in specialty products—approximately 60.8%, 24.9% and 14.3% of FSG sales, respectively. ETG reported $1,072.5 million in electronic parts primarily for defense, space and aerospace and $241.2 million for other industries—approximately 81.7% and 18.3% of ETG sales. Percentages are calculated from reported product-line sales.[10] [1]

Country-level employee counts are not disclosed.[16] [11]

Business segments

HEICO reports two operating segments. The Flight Support Group (FSG) designs and manufactures FAA-approved replacement parts for jet engines and aircraft components, and provides aircraft and engine component repair, overhaul and distribution. Its other activities include specialty aerospace and industrial products, military aircraft parts and support, advanced components and composites, insulation systems, and interconnect products. FSG accounted for approximately 70% of FY2025 net sales.[1]

The Electronic Technologies Group (ETG) designs, manufactures and sells electronic, data/microwave and electro-optical products, including components used in defense, space and aerospace applications. Its products include power, memory, RF/microwave, avionics, connector/interconnect and sensing components. ETG accounted for approximately 30% of FY2025 net sales.[2]

HEICO also provides product-line disclosures within these segments: three product lines for FSG and two product categories for ETG. These are subdivisions of the two operating segments, not additional reported segments.[17] [1]

Company history

HEICO was organized in 1957 as a holding company, with roots in Heinicke Instruments. In 1990, the Mendelson family took over management after becoming the company’s largest shareholders. In 1993, HEICO formed its Flight Support Group, marking a major step into aircraft aftermarket products and services.[18]

From 1996 onward, acquisitions became a significant part of HEICO’s expansion; the company reports completing more than 110 acquisitions. A major milestone was its 2023 acquisition of Wencor, which broadened its aircraft replacement-parts, distribution, repair and overhaul businesses.[22][23]

In 2025, HEICO advanced its leadership succession plan: Eric and Victor Mendelson became Co-CEOs, while Laurans Mendelson became Executive Chairman.[21][24] [18]
